Already using another password manager? Move your logins into Multifactor in a few steps by importing a CSV export.
Supported sources
Multifactor has guided imports for:
Google (Chrome passwords)
Apple (iCloud Keychain) — see also Import from Apple
1Password
LastPass
Bitwarden
Other — any standard password-manager CSV
Import your CSV
Open the Import screen (from the accounts page or Settings).
Choose your previous password manager.
Click How to export for step-by-step instructions to download a CSV from that app, on your platform (Mac, Windows, web, and so on).
Drag in the CSV file, or click to select it.
Match the columns
If your file has column headers, Multifactor maps them automatically. If it doesn't, you'll see a Match columns step: Multifactor guesses each column's type (website, username, password, note, and so on) from its contents, and you can correct any it got wrong or mark a column to ignore.
Review and finish
Before anything is saved, you'll see a review list of the accounts to be created:
Each row shows the detected service, account name, and which credentials will be added.
Choose to create a new account, merge into an existing one, or ignore the row.
Click Import to finish. Multifactor creates the accounts and credentials and your vault updates right away.
Note: Imports handle up to 10,000 rows at a time. Spreadsheet files (.xlsx) aren't supported — export as CSV.
