Multifactor is a secure home for your logins. It stores your passwords, two-factor codes, passkeys, and other account details in one encrypted vault, and helps you sign in, share access safely, and keep an eye on your account security.
What you can store
Each entry in Multifactor is an account — a service you sign in to, such as Google or GitHub — and every account can hold one or more credentials:
Passwords, with a built-in generator for strong new ones.
Two-factor codes (TOTP and HOTP) that replace a separate authenticator app.
Passkeys for passwordless sign-in.
Single Sign-On links, security questions, recovery codes, and API keys.
Supporting details like usernames, email addresses, and phone numbers.
You can also save payment cards, addresses, and secure notes for fast, safe autofill.
How your data is protected
Your vault is end-to-end encrypted. Credentials are encrypted on your device, so only you — and the people you explicitly share with — can read them. When you do share, you can grant full access or use Checkpoint to let someone use an account without ever seeing its password.
Where you can use it
Multifactor works across all your devices:
On the web at app.multifactor.com
As a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari
As a desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux
As a mobile app for iPhone, iPad, and Android
Note: Multifactor is in early access, so you'll see features and apps marked "Preview" while we continue to build them out.
