Setting up Multifactor takes a couple of minutes. You'll create an account secured by a passkey and your email, then add your first login.
Create your account
Go to app.multifactor.com and choose Create account.
Enter your name and email address.
Enter the verification code we email you to confirm your address.
When prompted, create a passkey. Your device (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key) stores it — there's no master password to remember or leak.
That's it — your encrypted vault is ready.
Add your first account
After you register, the Welcome to Multifactor setup guide opens.
Click Get Started.
Either import your logins from another app, or choose Set up manually.
Search for a service by name (for example, "Google"), then select it to create your first account.
Tip: You can always add more accounts later from the dashboard — see Add and organize accounts.
Sign in again
Because your account uses a passkey, signing in is quick and passwordless:
Go to app.multifactor.com and choose Sign in.
Enter your email.
Approve the request with your passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or your security key).
If you've installed Multifactor on another device, sign in there the same way — your vault syncs automatically.
