Sometimes it's easier to share a link than to add someone by email. Multifactor can create a secure link (or QR code) that grants access to an account.
Create a link
Open the account and choose Share.
Click Copy link to open the Share account link dialog.
Click Create, then choose the role the link grants (Checkpoint, Admin, Editor, or Viewer — see Share an account).
Copy the link, or switch on Show QR code to share it in person.
Anyone who opens the link gets the role you chose. Each role's link is labeled so you know what it grants — for example, a Viewer link lets someone view credentials, while a Checkpoint link lets them use the account without seeing them.
Manage and revoke links
The dialog lists the links you've created, including who made each one and when. To revoke access, delete the link — it stops working immediately.
Note: Treat links like keys. Anyone who has the link can use it until you delete it, so only share links through trusted channels and remove them when they're no longer needed.
